JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Graff State Certified Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that every vehicle that enters our service center is treated with the same level of care and diligence as your own, and leaves running at its very best. We’re looking for a service tech to join our team who has a proven track record of quality automotive maintenance and repair skills, takes great pride in their work, and who understands that our customer’s safety and security hinges upon their dedication.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency, and in accordance with dealership test-drive vehicles, test components, and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Clearly communicate directly with the Service Adviser so that dealership customers can be informed of the status of their vehicle and if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.

  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
  • Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean
  • Uphold dealership service quality standards and expectations

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma
  • State Certification in Automotive
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
  • Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Must be a fast learner

FINANCE MANAGER

Finance Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager sells new and used car buyers' financing and insurance programs along with aftermarket products that protect their investment. F&I managers also work with financial lenders to give fair interest rates to buyers and programs. As with all positions within dealerships, F&I managers are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Offering vehicle financing and insurance to customers and providing them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
Seeking new lending institutions and maintaining good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
Processing financing and leasing deals accurately and securing approval through financial sources and through the proper federal, state and corporate channels. Understanding and complying with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used vehicle and finance departments.
Training and providing the sales team with information on finance and lease programs and the benefits of the dealership’s financing and extended service programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Managers are required to not only understand but stay on top of the federal, state, and local regulations that affect their operations.
  • F & I personnel require strong communication skills in order to work with customers, employees and finance and insurance vendors as they represent the dealership.
  • People working within the automotive retail industry often have to work extended hours, evenings and weekends to achieve their goals.
  • No finance experience required, but you must have at least 2 years in the automotive industry.

SERVICE PORTER

Service Porter

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an enthusiastic go-getter to fill the role of Service Porter

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Transport customers to and from the dealership for service appointments
  • Organize vehicles on the lot
  • Remove trash from service employees work stations
  • Maintain oil canisters and oil room
  • Maintain cleanliness of the shop
  • Keep equipment in good working order
  • Report lot damage or malfunctioning of vehicles
  • Ensure service vehicles (loaners & shuttle) are maintained in a presentable fashion; i.e., gas, cleanliness etc.
  • Ensure walkways and entrances are free of debris, ice and snow at all times
  • Ensure landscape areas are free of debris, weeds, and trash at all times
  • Other duties as assigned programs.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
